NASHVILLE, TN

BROADWAY STREET

The Famous Broadway street was a destination on my traveling bucket list. Because of Covid-19, everyone was required to wear a mask on this street. I did not hesitate to wear one since it was pretty crowded. This street stays busy almost all day, seven days a week. I love the live music on the streets and even though it was crowded, it felt very safe to be on this street.

I didn’t realize how many popular country singers invested in bars and restaurants on this street! As much as I wanted to eat at one of these restaurants, the lines were ridiculous so I was sadly unable to try their awesome food.

What I noticed is that there were a lot of boot stores everywhere. For almost 6 years, I lived in Jacksonville, FL, and there were hardly boot stores. As you can see, I was in the middle of the street taking this photo. Because of Covid-19, They have blocked this road to allow people to continue to practice social distancing instead of being crowded on the sidewalk, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS VERY SMART! All you can hear is country music. But who DOESN’T LOVE country music!!!!!

JOHNNY CASH MUSEUM

OF COURSE! This place was a must to stop at! Who doesn’t know Johhny Cash? I mean come on, he is a legend of the legend. This museum is located right next to Broadway Street. Before entering the museum, there was a small retail store and coffee shop in the same building. So while I was waiting for my family to decide which family members wanted to go through the museum, I was checking out some souvenirs. The Museum was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it still had a lot of items, photos, and Johnny Cash musical equipment placed for people to see.

History has always been my favorite subject, and Nashville wouldn’t be the same without Johnny Cash. In the museum, it also included a couple of places to sit and watch a little clip of his history and what it was like during that Era.

There was a dedicated wall for all his records. There were so many that my camera couldn’t take all of it in one photo!!!! OH NOO!

This Guitar is absolutely beautiful! I could not resist to take this photo. BUT because of the limited space I had, I had to think creatively and take this photo from a different angle.

As a photographer, This was my favorite part!. They had a Vintage Nikon OS. This gorgeous contraption caught my eye before exiting the museum. Overall, the experience was wonderful at the Museum! Even though this trip lasted a little over an hour, It’s still a must place to go. Like I said Nashville wouldn’t be the same without Johnny Cash.
