FALL MORNING ROUTINE

Do you ever wonder what other people do every morning and how some people have a better morning than others? Yes I am a morning person. I was never a morning person growing up. I used to sleep in every chance I got. Even When I became a mom I hated waking up early in the morning to feed my kids and taking them to school. Sometimes I went to work in my pajamas and changed at work so I had more time to sleep. I was that person. The lazy mom! However I over come that lazy mom and became more active and now waking up early in the morning don’t seem as bad but more exciting. Here are some tips and tricks I do to help me wake up feeling like a million bucks.

GIVE YOURSELF AT LEAST 6-8 HOURS OF SLEEP AT NIGHT

That’s right, you have to get enough sleep to have a better morning. My younger years, I have went to bars and hung out with my friends or even talk to friends all night long. As I gotten older I literally waited all day to do laundry at night or started my home chores at night. If you have to wake up every morning by 6am, Please go to sleep way before midnight. A good sleep will determine your next morning, Heck it determines your whole day.

DRINK FLUID

Soon as I wake up, I drink either water or ice green tea. Im not a health freak or anything, however putting fluid in your body first thing in the morning activates your body. Try it for a week and you will see some changes. I normally drink something called because it literally wakes my mind up.

READ

It doesn’t matter what you read. It can be the news paper or I can be an article on Pinterest about another morning routine. Read sometime to motivate you. I wake up every morning to reading at least one article that will motivate me. It can be multiple quotes. JUST READ! I love to read something new about new work out routine or even breakfast Ideas. If I don’t force myself to read something I normally fall asleep. So try to read even a paragraph!

FIX YOUR BED

One thing I always done is making my bed in the morning. Why is this so important? I know that I have a lot of things to accomplish through out the day, but if I didn’t get anything accomplished, I know that I at least woke  up and made my bed. Also I don’t like to come home to an unmade bed. Having a clean environment helps me move faster through out the day and also it feels refreshing.

ROOM SPRAY

I have a huge habit about having fall scented candles or room spray. IT’S FALL! Embrace the season. I love waking up to cold mornings, Love wearing my fluffy socks but every morning I will walk around my home bear footed. That cold floor will surely wake me up. I always loved the smell of mahogany teak wood from bath and body works. Sometimes i’ll change it up and have pumpkin spice too. New fall scent can change anyones mood. Also who wouldn’t want to wake up to something that smell so good.

LISTEN TO MUSIC/ PODCAST

When your house is too quiet I normally get the feeling of wanting to go back to sleep. I listen to music while i am getting ready to go to the gym or during my shower time. It doesn’t matter when listen to anything while you are getting ready. Your welcome.

MEDITATION

I like to collect my thought through out the day. I AM A MOM, everything runs through my mind. So sitting down and meditating for 5 minutes does a lot of thing to me mentally and physically. Most of us may have  a job that can be mentally draining or even just being a parent can put stressful. Take the time to meditate.

WASH YOUR FACE

Good face care routine is very essential. We can’t help pimples or acne to stop but we can always try to lessen some. Another great thing about washing  your face is that it helps you wake up. The cold water during fall splashing in your face is a great feeling I say. But I do this almost everyday so that I can avoid face break out.

GYM

Oof. That word can make anyone cringe at times, but I have never been more happier than being able to go to the gym early in the morning. I understand that you can’t go to the gym early in the morning, but If you can do so!. I always say that the gym smells so much better in the morning. Plus hitting that crisp fresh air can do something with your mental health. I embrace my favorite season as much as I can. When coming home from the gym, I can smell the fall scented spray in my home.

BREAKFAST

I am very guilty of this topic right here. I know that I skip breakfast sometimes and I shouldn’t. However, after gym, I normally have kids ready for home school and I am ready to work or tackle on anything I need to do in the morning. My children are raised to make their own breakfast, whether it is cereal or toast. I make pancakes once a week, but I normally don’t eat breakfast food. I usually eat rice and what ever meat that comes my way! I used to drink protein shakes, but those made me hungrier. If im cutting carbs that day, I normally make cauliflower rice, veggies, and anything protein. Coffee is great, but my first cup of coffee isn’t made until noon because I have all that energy from going to the gym.

SHOWER

After working out, I always need a quick shower. I usually use anything that is citrus or man body wash. OKAY, I’m sure you are confused to why i use a man body wash. The reason behind that is because most man body wash is so wakening and the scent itself sometimes last longer than a woman’s body wash. I do not have bad body odor, However I just love being able to smell Irish Springs on my body sometimes. Don’t Judge me!

CLEAN WORK AREA

I spend most of the day in front of a computer. I can not function correctly when my work station is dirty. Clutter can make any work time very unpleasant. So before I start work, I make sure I have a clean area to work.
